The general appearance is pleasant. I like the use of the colors black and gold. The first thing that I notice is some redundancy; right off the bat and right underneath each other. The quick fact page is a great idea, however I think they should try and put more information on this page. Some ideas for changes to this page would include: the actual location of the university; the cost per credit hour and an explanation of any other fees associated with attending, and maybe a spotlight section. In this spotlight section we could list one major thing going on, on campus; such as the construction of a new building(science/business), the completion of a new building (athletic center), or an upcoming play or concert. The community home page is very nice!!! It is nice to see the home pages of both students and faculty. The site on campus activities is also interesting. There is allot of information that can be accessed here. The connection for the radio station needs some work (ha, ha, ha - all they have is the call letters/numbers). One of the worst sections is the area of admissions. This is very boring. This page needs lots of work. Compared to the other pages that I visited, this one did not keep my attention. I left rather quickly as opposed to others which I stayed and wanted to find out more information. At one point I came across a link to our state government, I liked that. This link also had a link to a senators email address. When I went to the search it does not include personal home pages. A suggestion maybe to have a box to check if you wanted to include students web pages in your search. I can see the need to do this, or have a link to a different search utility that would only search the students and faculty's web pages. I love maps, however when referencing the map of the campus it would be nice if when referencing the map you could pan down on each individual building, to access classes, books, student directory, etc.
